My Birthing Tub

Eve & Esther exploring the birthing tub. My midwife dropped it off the other day, along with other birthing supplies. It's a 150 gallon Rubbermaid tub. Very spacious for our whole family to chill in.

Don't you worry, mom. Before the baby comes we will wash it. It will be covered with a brand new plastic birthing liner, so it will be completely sanitized.

Every time I walk by this tub I can't help but get sooooooo excited!

If we had at least a 5 foot Lava wall surrounding the backyard and no one lived in the basement I would totally want to birth outside underneath these trees. I just think it would be so relaxing staring up at the sky, watching clouds pass by, the brightness of sun, seeing the trees sway with the wind & listening to the birds chirp. Doesn't that sound dreamy?

girl, you are brave!!! I'm super excited to hear about your birthing story once it happens though. I'm always intrigued hearing calm, serene birthing stories. Are you planning on having anyone else in the tub with you?
