I'm In California!

I forgot to mention that we left Hawaii for good. uuuuh! I hate saying that, it hurts. Well maybe not for good but for a while, a long while. Mark wants to do an internship for a year in D.C. and Go to graduate school for his PhD in Political Science. So we are looking at 7 years in the mainland. We are now in Walnut Creek, California for the summer. It's a really nice area, and the apartment we got hooked up with, is sweeeeeeeeeeet! I'm going to make the best of it and break out of my shell and meet new people, YES I CAN! So if any of you live close by, you should come and visit, we would love to have you. Summer said she is already coming in about a month or so, I'm so excited!

This was Eve being put to bed by her cousins Kelly-Shae & Kensy. They sang "I Am A Child Of God" as their lullaby. They were so cute!

This is a picture of Mark's older brothers Jono, Mark, William, and Daniel.

These Past Weeks

Mark's brother Matthew came to visit us from Kentucky. We had a blast with Matthew. He encouraged us to take advantage of our last weeks in Hawaii. The above picture was a plaque at the pearl harbor memorial on the Arizona. The picture below was taken at Haliewa Joes in Kaneohe. Matthew is one brave soul! I'm really jealous of him even until this day. He had the most prime position of any one at Waimea Bay. He was out about 200 feet from the shore swimming with 30 dolphins. He saw them do flips and everything. From where I was standing I was in awe, I can't imagine how I would feel if I had his perspective. The next three pictures were in Haiku gardens.

I love this picture, and they werent even posing either. Just captured the moment, that's all.
Grandma denninghoff with Eve at Mark's graduation. It was the first time Marks family got to see Eve. They loved her.
Mark graduated at BYU-Provo this past week. I was so proud of him! He worked so hard to get his bachelors done in 3 years. He is amazing and I just love his desire to learn more each day.
Eve and I got to visit a mission buddy, Shanna Scott and her baby girl Paige in Orem, Utah. Both our girls were born about the same time. It was so fun to meet up again. Love you Shanna and Paige.
Uncle Joey bought Eve this wierd looking pacifier. I could not stop laughing when Eve would suck on it.

Matthew and Mark at the shrimp farm in Kahuku.

Uncle Joey trying to calm Eve down in Ross.
Play time with Ashley's baby Velzy. She's so cute.
My aunt Evan from Texas came down for Joey's wedding. She makes me smile.
We had an opportunity to visit Jen. It was so needed. I love this woman so much. She has been one of my earth angels when I lived in Utah.
We were joking with Matthew, when we told him all locals dress like this when they go to the beach. He almost believed us.

This is one of my favorite shots. Props to Hailey for the awesome pictures, she was their photographer.

Our family is growing! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

My brother Joey got MARRIED! Their special day was on April 5th. It was so fun! Awesome entertainment, yummy food, and family we haven't seen in ages. What a wonderful day it was. Welcome Georgette to the Vega family.

Who Did She Learn This From?

Who did she learn this from? Probably, Mark! Mark is just as curious of his feet as Eve. Just kidding hunny, if you're reading this. Big hug, little kiss, heehee. We caught Eve doing this while we were at Borders for family night. Mark was reading a poetry book to her and this was her response. You can tell she was very interested in the poem.

Chillin at tutu's house in Mililani. My camera is just to slow to capture the cutiest facial expressions that she makes.

Last Saturday we went to Misty Krey's wedding at Waimea falls park. It was beautiful. Walking to the fall took sometime, but on the way back to the reception we took our time and enjoyed the lushness to the botanical garden.

Misty & Rick listening to their vows intently. Doesn't she look gorgeous?

My little angel being patient for her leche. She did great for the ceremony.
