Happy Anniversary To Us

We knew that we would be celebrating our anniversary in Kentucky. We weren't sure how we were going to celebrate it. We wanted to do something fun, since we finally had family around to watch our little ones. Everything happened so fast that we both forgot our anniversary. It took my brother in law Daniel to remind us that it was our anniversary. Thank you Daniel! While we were there we found these fun pictures from our honeymoon that we never saw before. It was fun for us to reminisce about some great memories. Thanx Matthew for developing these pictures for us.

No longer You or I but Us. I love it. This is at one of my favorite beaches that I love to go to but don't like to tell anyone about. I love that it's still not very crowded at all.

It's only been 4 years and I feel like we've known each other forever. I get to wake up to this face every morning. So fun!

I look like a baby. At this point in my life I was thinking I want 20 babies. What innocent thinking. NOw I know what it's like to be a parent so the number has changed and changed and changed and still changing etc.

Good Times!

More Random Fun Stuff

Racing out of the house to play in the snow.

I thought I had all of their snow clothes, but I seem to have forgotten Eve's covered shoes. Small thing right? Thanks to Mark's quick thinking, he came up with these. It worked for a little while.

It's so neat to see the girls reaction to the snow over the years. It has definitely improved.

I'm not sure why I didn't take a picture but these kids built a HUGE snow man in the backyard. Never seen one like it.
I also have no pictures of the time when I went sledding with Eve down this massive hill and crashed. I ended up rolling on top of her. She popped up from the ground with a bloody nose and lip. As for me I just scraped a little part of my face and lost my pride on that hill. The ironic thing was that before I was about to go down the hill I felt I shouldn't, but gave into peer pressure. Yah, all my in laws got a good laugh! I'm grateful that no one had video footage of the event.

My brother in law Matthew had this fun game where you compete who has the best dance moves. Surprisingly we all got into! Great idea Matthew!

Collesville bridge is one of the few existing covered bridges in the U.S. Inside the bridge there is a little box for visitors. You're suppose to sign in the guest log and leave an item for someone and also take an item with you as a souvenir. Yah leave it up to Mark to retrieve this little but. He ended up putting it back.

This is the place that Mark has been talking about ever since we were engaged. He absolutely loves breakfast food and according to him this is the best place to eat it. I actually enjoyed eating grits.

Muhammad Ali Center

We went to the Muhammad Ali center in Kentucky. We loved it! It was very interactive for kids. I found it to be a very enlightening experience. I never knew Ali was so spiritual. It was evident to me that he set time to nurture his soul.
Mark training for the big fight with Ali.

Mark shadow boxing with Ali.

She's a lover not a fighter. I'm kidding. Don't let this cute face fool yah. I've seen Esther hit Eve many times and run.

I really enjoyed the art work. These tiles were done by children in nearby schools. From far away it had inspirational messages.

All in all we had a blast here. Totally recommend it if you re ever in Louisville, Kentucky.

Louisville Sluggers

We went to the Lousiville Slugger Museum in Kentucky. Yeah, it wasn't for the kids; it was really for their mommy who played softball for 13 years. It's any ball players dream to go to the headquarters. Surprisingly it was kid friendly and the girls loved hitting off the tee.
Slugger #1

Eve was a natural. She held that bat like she knew what she was doing. She hardly needed assistance from her daddy.

Slugger #2
Esther, on the other hand, thought the object of the game was to hit the ball with her hand. Even though she didn't know what to do, she was really excited to hit.

Slugger #3
What can I say? I still got it! Although my arm is still aching from showing off.

Blessing Day

Asenath's Blessing Day
December 26th 2010

Asenath you are a delight! We love you so much!

When your daddy gave you a blessing I felt a sweetness in thee air. I could tell that you were deeply loved by your Heavenly Father and the timing that you entered our family was
divinely appointed (10-10-10). Your birth place in our family was meant to be. I strongly feel that God doesn't want me to make any mistakes with you. He's training me to become a Mother that he envisions me to be. It's a good thing that you have two strong sisters who allow me to make so many mistakes. They love you so much and can't wait till you can run around the house with them.

You're about 3 1/2 months now and still staying strong with your gorgeous smiles.

We love you so much and are deeply grateful to have you in our life. Will you stay like this forever? Pretty please.

Alright

I haven't been up to updating these past couple of weeks. Felt a little worn out and just needed a vacation from my vacation. That's what happens when you travel with little people. Little people are so entertaining and absolutely adorable. I think God made them extra cute when their so small so it's easier to love them when they poo their pants, vomit, wipe their boogers on you, hit you etc. Any how my throat feels better along with my spirit so I need to start documenting our past couple of weeks. As soon as I find my adapter to my camera I seem to misplaced it.

Happy New Year!
Here's to Good Change and Making Memories!
