Don't Want To Forget

*Miracles upon miracles on our way back to Hawaii
*Family's expressions with their first encounter with the girls
*Discovering new nearby beaches
*Anxiously waiting to meet people in our new ward
*Getting to know our neighbors
*Library hopping
*Shopping at the commissary for the first time
*Asenath first time at the beach
*Me: keep forgetting to put sun screen on my little hapa babies
*Hiking Manoa falls
*Driving around the whole island hoping that Eve would fall asleep
*My papi playing with the girls in his silly way really warms my heart
*Having spiritual conversations with my brother's family in the living room
*The distinct flavor of a mango grown in someones backyard
*Seeing the temple for the first time after it's renovation
*Fresh Poki waiting for me

Let the ball keep rolling to making sweet memories

Asenath update

This is how she looked before we cut her hair

She has seriously been my happiest baby by far

I love how hard Esther was trying to be in this picture, It's as awkward looking as a homeless person in the background of a bridal photo

Oh my sweet angel. You love mommy so much. You just can't stand being away from mommy to long. You do very well when other people hold you and you give smiles and laughs to everyone. You still have a verocious appetite not so much for solids just yet but leche. The only solids you really like to eat are kix, apple sauce and carrots. You are gaining weight like it's your job. Mommy's arms get so tired during the day that I'm so grateful we are going to Hawaii so your loved ones will get a chance to hold you. You also love being in the carrier and can fall fast asleep in it. You get so excited to see me that you start rocking your left foot back and forth. At 5 1/2 months you started to say "dada". You are now 7 months and I'm still waiting for you to say "mama". No hard feelings. You often skip your naps unless you fall asleep in the carrier, carseat or if mommy takes a nap with you. You sleep when I go to bed. You are a night owl. I believe your eyes are hazel just like your sister Eve, in fact in many ways your facial expressions remind me a lot like her. Your poop just started to smell. Yah, not excited about that one. You're above average in height and weight now. I'm so glad I decided not to take the pediatrician's advice as far as supplementing with formula when you were 2 weeks old. So far your lips have never touched formula and I feel so pleased with that. You have bitten me 4 times which was not fun and I actually got tempted to start bottle feeding but decided not to. You are so loved by your family. Your sisters just absolutely adore you. They can often make you smile when youre sad. As well as daddy's skills on the guitar can calm you down quite quickly. Keep growing and we'll keep loving you up everyday.

Easter dresses

I really enjoyed easter sunday. The spirit was so sweet all day! My love for the Savior was especially tender as I reflected upon ALL the many things he has done for me, my family and the world. Next year I want to be better and start celebrating Easter at least a week before the actual day and study the scriptures with the corresponding events that led up to the resurrection with my family. I would really want that to become a tradition in our family.
