Oh My Girls

After reading our scriptures together as a family this morning I shared my testimony with my girls. Then I asked Eve if she would like to share her testimony with mommy and Eve said (3 1/2 yrs. old) "I love Jesus to! In the name of Jesus Christ, amen." I then turned to Esther and asked her if she would like to share her testimony with mommy and Esther (2 yrs. old) said "Jesus is my testimony" followed by a long pause so I asked her "is there anything else you want to say?" and she said "yah, ice cream" followed by giggles. I tried to keep a serious face but I couldn't. Yes, I giggled to.

Mark has been away to basic training in Ft. Benning, GA for a little over a month now. This has seriously been the hardest month in my entire life and the sad thing is I'm really not exaggerating. Mark sent me a few letters saying that I needed to document the things that he's missing because he so dearly misses his girls and doesn't want to miss a thing. So it looks like I need to get back on the saddle and start blogging again. It will be difficult trying to find the time since I'm a single mom right now and working on my masters degree but I'm going to try to do my best. I know that the hardest times in our lives will be treasured in the future as I look back and gain strength knowing that I got through it. The only way I can treasure it, is if I remember it and the only way I'll remember it, is if I document it. My memory is not the best after having these 3 wild flowers.

I wish I was there to keep you company and help you with some of the everyday mundane tasks that being a mom involves! I can't imagine doing what you are doing all alone. You are superwoman--hang in there.
